I also saw it on the official announcement channel.
That was the only way to interact with the team as they don't really come here unless to post a link to a new story but actually participating in a conversation on bitcointalk doesn't happen.
Or am I wrong about that?
I am pretty sure they respond to every query via twitter, faceboook, telegram or email so ..... no, open chats are actually the worse way of interacting with the team. There is too much "noise".
If I had a question I would just ask them.
I did, multiple times (PM & even facebook), but there never came an answer and that is why I am writing that they don't really engage with the community.
Ok, maybe an open chat can spin out of control but a forum is still a forum. The head of communications is registered on bitcointalk but only active if she wants to share news. Most of us have the telegram-announcement-channel so we can paste the link to the news here ourselves. If you are active on this forum, try to answer some concerns at least and don't ignore everything while you just paste your link to medium or twitter, is all I'm saying.
