Wonder why this week's dividends are a half of last week's?

Is this serious or sarcasm?

If it was meant seriously... ASICMINER stopped selling the Block Eruptor Blades until the improved ones become available in a few weeks, and the hash rate dropped extremely significantly (it now appears to be back up to an all-time high).

I am currently holding 10000 shares, which can be verified at https://blockchain.info/tx/3c07216fce4bd45d0c7d49eabe21a4c137691e481527d0f936b65e49bc7bb7cf by looking up my address: 1KbAD8KU1u6uw6nHSJEYpdZfgQbNbTAkH2

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what good could come from these statements. Best to keep your holdings private or at least discreet IMO. Reminds me of my Dad's buddy from medical school who is always boasting about his safe full of gold and guns when he gets drunk.

I'm sure you know how to protect yourself freedomno1, but it sets a poor example for the naive who may not realize the scammers which lurk on this board.

To fellow recent arrivals to the bitcoin scene, I suggest this approach:
Trust me, I'm poor, nothing to see here, move along  Wink

Newbies should certainly focus on understanding how to protect their wallets before they acquire coins. It's no good to have a million dollars in cash if you are going to spend your time walking around dangerous areas with a sign on your back that says you have it in your pocket.

Personally, I have no concerns about my Bitcoins and/or ASICMINER shares being stolen/hacked/phished or whatever. Not mentioning all the firewalls and virus protection, I almost never have access to more than five or ten Bitcoins at a time without a visit to a safety deposit box at a bank... and when I do that the coins are sent before I leave the bank. My cold wallets were produced with a computer that I built myself, never touched the internet, and has since been destroyed. Someone trying to rob me would get far more from the cash in my wallet than they'd ever get in Bitcoins.

In the words of the least-popular President in US history... bring it on!
