ATMs and credit cards both have fees (I believe you are joking). It may have zero confirmation time but It's possible to chargeback and get scammed. Lightning Network should give us the ability to make micro-payments and without waiting for confirmations too. Banks control your money, you don't. I see no reason on why fiat is better than bitcoin.

Cash has no fees, the OP clearly meant paying for items in cash, such as buying water in a supermarket etc. To give someone your physical cash, you're not paying any fees for such an action and it's instantaneous. Unlike Bitcoin which can takes Days to send and sending them requires a sizable $ fee if you don't want to wait months(lower the fee the longer it takes)
Cash and other physical currencies have much more usefulness than Bitcoin.
