There is only one sense in which the kind of evolution about which we are speaking is not a hoax. It's not a hoax because you can find it in the books, and all over the Internet. So it is real because you can see real explanations about it. Just because the explanations are totally wrong, doesn't make them to not exist.

Evolution is a hoax. But it is real because you can see the words about it in books. The hoax is really an existing hoax. See? Evolution exists, as a hoax, of course.
