Why is there so much acrimony between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Core?
If Bitcoin Cash actually flips BTC and takes share / market cap it will set the space back for 5 years.
Very well done with the quotes there. Thanks for taking my own words and making a salient point. This whole contentious fork / shitfork business is extremely frustrating. Bitcoin is the reserve currency for crypto and there are plenty of great settlement layers available already. I don't quite understand why everyone thinks that BItcoin must do everything and be all things. Let it be the store of value for fuck's sake. Satoshis vision was a vision and the market decided it was going to do something else with it.
There is nothing wrong with healthy competition I support many alts as well as Bitcoin
The issue here is that bcash has one agenda and that is to destroy Bitcoin and be #1 by any means necessary second place is not a option and would rather implode and destroy itself and all reputation first before admitting defeat
Right why don't the Bcash people just build superior technology quietly but instead bash the real Bitcoin 24 hours a day? Just build tech, present it to the people and see what they prefer. It is not so much about innovation and technology but about politics, power and money. That's how humans work.
