With the current trend on bitcoin price today, $10,000 is kinda an easy target to reached now erasing doubts by others that lots of correction on the price should supposed to happened before it reached that price level.
Actually there are other guy who says that Bitcoin could 'easily' reach $40,000 by the end of 2018. Note that 'easily' term.
