I'm sure part of the delay is caused by baikal's inability to arrange/pack the miners to be ready for shipment. The other reason is due to china's current courier networks being jammed by the 11.11 singles day sales like I said before. The backlog of parcels can reach until mid december to be cleared. This is based on my past experience in regards to buying discounted items from china on 11.11.
I'm in on the second batch, so let's hope no sales happening during xmas period in china. And first batch buyers can all get the miners soon.

I agree with everything you said. But ASIC Miner Market DID get 500 units from first batch and they are indeed mining with them. Probably not even shipping yet - they can blame the backlog on shipping.
