One can see this campaign in two aspects:

1. The dev team is trying to make the fork happen that was canceled due to unwanted reasons. This if successfully happens will solve two of the most serious issues in BTC i.e. transaction cost and transaction time/delay.

2. The canceled fork reflects the greed of the core bitcoin dev team to make bitcoin centralized which goes against the ideology of Cryptocurrency. Till few days back the B2X dev team was part of core team

Now it remains to be seen how commited are the B2X dev team to the cryptocommunity.
