Data recovery is quite easy using GetBackData NTFS, as long as the hard drive have not been further messed with, the file system and files are still on the drive, just the first character removed and so is 'invisible' to top layer.

It is a fun thing to do actually, recovering your data, and hopefully your BTC.. I have recovered using this and some other methods many time, good luck with the recovery, message me if you need assistance.
