I beg to differ. I think you're tremendously stupid if you think that the dollar sign without a line is Canadian. It's just a different FONT, you paycoining waste of oxygen. There is only one dollar sign: U+0024. Some fonts - such as Arial - show a full vertical line, while some others - such as Google's favorite Roboto - show just top and bottom of that line. You could easily verify this in e.g. a Google doc or some other app that lets you choose a font, but of course you're too fucking lazy to do that and too fond of your harebrained conspiracy theories.
