Just guessing but this silence might be related to Ryans personality also. Ryan might be such person that he likes to prove people wrong. Thats why he is sitting on info and nothing sharing everything at once. He loves it when those who didnt believe him see what mistake they did. Some people are like that, they work hard to prove others wrong lol.
