I thought that Singapore was  a peaceful country  - till I found out that they have  a huge Tank force in Singapore. What I found out was really staggering.

With the help of advisers from Israel the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) used mandatory conscription called National Service to maintain a sizable standing army with the best equipment money could buy. This mindset is still apparent today and as a result the Republic of Singapore possesses the most advanced military in the region.

And still I believe my friends living in the city-state of Singapore are 1 of the world's most peaceful nations. They are just armed to their teeth - and it's guarantees them their Freedom.
