Very important reminder:
On block 135.000 (in about 5 days) there will be a hard fork in order to implement the new hashing difficulty algorithm. This was planned 6 months ago.
Be sure to update to version 1.3.0 if you haven't done it yet. Prior versions will not accept the new blocks and so will not sync anymore with the network.

Thanks for that explanations man! Appreciate it very much. Thats exactly the case, I am using a HDD. So thats why it takes ages... Thanks for the workaround tip I will check that out. But on the other hand a cold storage is all I need at the moment, because I want to hold my SIA for long term anyway and dont want to send them anywhere in the next year. So yeah, I guess I will just do it that way.
