You do realize that every minute/second in football management counts and having each activity run through eth blockchain would cost money and time so how would it even be feasible for a person to play a game and needing to transfer tokens through eth blockchain for each activity?
That's a good point to raise but not every single activity has to run through the blockchain.
For example, interacting with players happens within our database and doesn't need to be validated / logged anywhere. The player's state and relationships change but we don't need any consensus about that.
We also have the backup option of doing what most MMOs do and introducing a dual currency mechanism.
