Assembly will be processed in the order payment was accepted. A notice will be given in the thread with purchase instructions and link once the payment gateway has been tested.
I have very serious concerns about this. I see a number of potential problems:
1. We already have our places in the pre-order queue, but it sounds like now that there will be additional competition for spaces in the assembly order queue. What happens if someone in batch 5 pays for assembly before a person in batch 1 does?
2. This sounds like we'll all be "tied to this forum" watching for the payment gateway to come online, so we can jump in quickly and pay for our spot in the assembly line.
3. If there IS a rush of people trying to order assembly all at once, I can foresee problems with a relatively untested payment gateway, particularly when under a sudden heavy load.
4. It already seems like people will have problems funding with bitcoins in time for payment.
5. I'm concerned that so many people failed to get the original email detailing the assembly process. Did anyone get it?
I had planned all along to have the assembly done by Steamboat, but now I'm questioning that. I'm STRONGLY concerned that the assembly order process will turn into some sort of competitive "pre-order" like race to get our orders in.
I really hope that's not the case.
Steamboat, perhaps you could share about more information about the order in which assembly will be done? It would sure make me feel better
Thanks
