Why 8 decimal places?

What if during the share calculation it actually extends to 32 decimal places?

Oh no!  This problem is worse than I thought!  Clearly, 32 is greater than 8, and if they aren't even bother to use 8, I'm missing out on nearly four times as many places as you made me aware of!
