Quoted, but should write a verifiable message for it to matter, otherwise it's sort of like pissing in the wind... It feels good for now, but it could go really bad at any moment. You can use any sort of personal wallet to sign messages from your address(es) these days. There's only certain limitations, normally exchanges if I'm not mistaken won't allow for you to sign a message.
