I don't think this wallet will work on Raspberry. Even if it starts to sync, you would be stuck on some other block, and basically your sync will progress slower than the chain moves forward, so you would never sync completely.

Raspberry RAM is too small for this chain, and having big swapfile will make things even worse - as swapping will be very slow on SD card and will eventually kill your card too.

I tried to run it on Orange Pi (its SBC similar to Raspberry), and it actually run for some time and synced, but it was not sustainable and was lagging behind as soon as it gets to 'funky' blocks. So I just stopped it not to waste time and hardware

Hopefully the new chain (guys, thats not just new wallet expected, but is a whole new blickchain on new codebase!!), will run lighter.
I will definitely miss the old (currently existing) 8bit chain though  It is fun to use
