You are not buying gold here. Have you seen daily jumps and drops of 30%. This is not the right approach to focus Only on what benefits you can get and you look for answers in this forum. You should invest rather what you are ready to loose. Now for investing  100 $ or even 200$ I don't think you will become poor if the price goes down but really think, what if the price goes to 0$ can I still stay healthy the same as now  ?
After make your own checks  and decision cos noone can say for sure what will happen tomorrow.
