MtGox has currently an API for 3 coins on their exhange:
- BTC
- LTC
- NMC
Why would they create an API for NMC if they don't put it on their exchange?
It's a safe choice if you look at it from the MtGox point of view. It has a high, safe (merge mined) hashrate, it has a new client with DNS features, etc.
