ETH and other crypto currency has a price dependency on Bitcoins.  As the value of bitcoin is increasing it is also affecting the value of other crypto. I think the reason behind the increase in the price of ETH is also the increase in the price of bitcoin.

ETH is also a demandant currency and its demand also has increase its price a bit but the main cause could be the increase in the price of bitcoin.
