These days you should be VERY carefull with coins that promise an airdrop. It could happen that the fake dev tries to get you into download virus infected wallet software.
How can we avoid that ?
Safest way is not to join a airdrop where you have to download a wallet! If you want to join you can still check it via virustotal and to make sure you are (almost) 100% safe do not use the wallet on the same device where you use other currencies. Keep you BTC/ETH/etc. wallets, files and more in a safe place or at least on a clean PC or other device.
