I dont think so. We all knew that BTC had limited stocks. If we had alt coins, we can utilize BTC. As for example, alt coins can be use for payment and because alt coins had the equivalent of certain amount of BTC. We cant really deny the fact that alt coins are really needed. BTC's rising is not blowing our alt coins in the dust. As you can see if you just check those list of alt coins you can see that theres some coins that making its way to the top.
