I like Ripple (XRP) because it is a very good altcoin with outstanding features compared to other altcoin. XRP is not high, because XRP has a large amount of supply, but I think XRP will increase strongly in the future. You may consider investing a small amount in XRP.
Long term holding might work for this coin as you mention that the supply really affecting its growth but who knows, possibility for this coin to hit 1$
