Bitcoin will be the leader for crypto all the time. It brings the technology and all other altcoins copy the idea of bitcoin to some degree. It also has the most public exposure.
"all the time" is a pretty long time. There could be a new technology we dont know of yet thats cooler, better, more exciting, more fun, solves more problems than Bitcoin does. But I dont see it happen for the next 100 years so yeah we should be safe with Bitcoin.
This is some crazy stuff for scifi, or maybe even just hippie ideas. Or socialism. If there was no need for money anymore there probably was no need for bitcoin either.
