I'm an idiot for Ubuntu but did you set the device path? IIRC 0.1 would be the first device? 0.2 second? I wish there was a noob friendly tutorial for idiots like me. I've gone through the Natty Narwahl tutorial but it fails to mention (in the OP at least) how to set up poclbm. How do you set up a wallet in Ubuntu? Use your current one? How do you download the blocks? I have so many "noobish" questions. Currently in Windows and running ok but would like to run Ubuntu in a virtual machine. Good luck.
