Update:
BitPay is investigating our account for suspicious activity due to volume. We are speaking with them now and the gateway should be available shortly. The website has been functioning properly. All other concerns will be addressed shortly.
Thank you for your continued patience in this matter.
I could have seen that coming. I'm surprised there wasn't some discussion about expected volume when you signed up to use the BitPay service.
Not to sound like a broken record, but with this kind of volume (not surprising) I'm concerned about order queue placement. I've been trying to order since about 8:00 central
A few pages back, Steamboat said
"Chip purchase and assembly purchase have always been separate. The chips will be processed in the order they were purchased, and so will assembly.
Each batch will be processed as a unit. Batch 2 chips will be processed before Batch 3, and so on. This takes effect only if the chips are delivered at the same time, which is a possibility but has not been confirmed. The assembly queue relates to individual units within each batch. Orders from each batch will not be competing with orders from another batch for their place in line. "So all of batch 1, then batch 2, etc. If my math is right (50,000 / 16) then there is a max of 3125 k16s that will be made amongst the 5 batches that have been ordered or 625 boards per batch. Would queue placement be that big on a problem, seems like they'd be build within a week (when the time comes) if everything goes smoothly. Some chips are going to other assemblers so maybe this number is smaller.
Or maybe I'm completely off on all of this.
