I have never had any problems with neither the normal nor the light wallet. But the normal wallet could have a a sync progression bar or sync % for visual cue when it's fully synced. It misled also me in the beginning to think the withdrew funds weren't showing in the wallet.

windows wallet gets corrupted on unexpected shutdowns. Happened twice and I had to delete/import the blockchain.
I now do right click system tray metaverse, close it, and then shut down. Seems ok so far. But I agree with other users concerns, these should not happen at all.
I keep voicing my concerns over mining / locking over and over again on multiple sources. I did 1-to-1 chats with developers helped them to identify/debug problems, and we are still waiting on solutions for those as well.
