I am a woman investing in crypto. I know my nick looks like it stand for "Mr" but actually M is the first letter of my first name and R is the first letter of my middle name.
My brother's girlfriend and my mom are also investing in crypto currencies but they are not in this forum. I am new to all this, but I'm sure there's a lot of women here but we just can't tell them all by their nicknames.

Good for you and the others in your life for getting involved. I know it can be intimidating to enter a world where it is mainly men in the profession but as you said nobody is going to know. I hope you could spread the awareness and positive aspect about cryptos and that you get more women involved. The more the merrier and besides that would make conferences a lot better I would think too

I've never been to any conference, It's been only a couple of months that I've been investing in bitcoins. I didn't know it was like a sausage party. lol
To be honest, I don't think it is intimidating, I don't even thought about it until reading topics like this. I am just interesting in learning more about crypto world and how to try to make the best decisions based on my knowledge and feeling.
In my country Bitcoin is not well know and most people look at it with as if it was some scam. They don't really get it or never even heard about it. But again, I didn't get it too until I did some research. I try to spread the word to a lot of my friends, that includes a lot of female friends too. Like me I am certain that's plenty of other girls around so hopefully more women will join in some time.
