I updated the alphacoin client, so you won't see the annoying messages/alerts of updating the Litecoin client.
Of course if you don't care about the messages, you don't have to upgrade. This is not a mandatory update.
The front page download links are updated with new ones. Please upgrade if you don't want to see the annoying popup messages from Litecoin. Thanks!
