Yes this is sad for all of the people having an important transaction right now that the kitties is clogging the network including me. Maybe we'll just wait a day or two and this will be resolved by the network hearing that the regular gas limit by now is 40,000. Vitalik buterin has something to say about this situation and its all about positive statements. He also replied several reasons why we should take the issue lightly.
