People have reported problems with the mobile app too. And I don't know how to set up the mobile app if I can't log in to the wallet.
I guess my question is... I've never had to do this before... if I use the recovery for the Blockchain wallet, doesn't this just automatically make another Blockchain wallet? Would I just have the exact same log in issue? And there's an additional step (I believe) of having to recover the funds, right?
Would that still put me a step away from having the funds in the Electrum wallet?
Obviously the easy thing here is for Blockchain to be minimally responsible & fix the 2FA issue. Since that might never happen, what should be my next steps please? It's OK to talk to me like I'm an idiot.

FYI I have BTC & the BCH I automatically got in this wallet & only as of the last day now some ETH.
The mobile app is still working fine for me though and I have learnt my lessons about web wallets which I would only keep temporary funds aside that, nothing more several times I have been locked out of my wallet either through the fault of the sites or something specific to me since then I don't just do it that way. For the last couple of days, complains has been high on blockchain.info and I have even read on the part of compromise. The only way is to get in touch with support as I see it.
