same here, yesterday was way more rewards than today.
More frequent or higher sums. Higher sums sure, because the ROI is decreasing with more MNs, but there is no reason to have fewer payouts, none.
There is reason to have fewer payouts as more masternodes are made. Remember there are only 720 blocks per day (PoW and PoS). Each time a PoS block is made, a masternode gets 90% of the reward, but the chosen masternode is either random or based on the order/ rank (still don't really know which one is it). Regardless, you get less chances to get selected when there are more masternodes. On average though, the stats should be fairly correct:
