Hi,

I'm a newbie in the crypto world and I bought 233 DNR on Cryptopia. I downloaded the Denarius wallet and (while it was synchronizing) I transfered my 233 DNR to the address generated in the "Receive coins" section. But my antivirus was keep shutting down Denarius so I deleted the Denarius folder in order to reinstall it. I then realized that my previous receive coins address changed. So my question is: can I still get my 233 DNR back?

Did you uninstalled or deleted folder?
If you deleted the folder
Wallet.dat could be in appdata/roaming folder/denarius in Windows installed machine..

Price fallen from .75 to .62..so may be You can buy one again.. what anti virus are you using? best to add the denarius folder to the exceptions so it doesnt do that to you. Then remember to always back up your wallet.dat file somewhere different, like another hard drive, usb, etc. I have all my wallets backed up in 3 places. I do a daily backup on a secondary hard drive attached to my system, then weekly backups onto a USB and offline hard drive I keep detached. I know it sounds extreme but its saved my ass numerous times when wallets stop working and go bonkers.

I deleted the Denarius folder in C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Denarius. So the wallet.dat got deleted as well.

I don't know if it changes anything but I have wallet address...I'm confused  Huh So my 233 DNR are lost forever?

so you never backed up your wallet? why wouldnt you do that.. You always need to back up your wallet. What kind of antivirus software are you running? I have had to add all my wallets as exceptions, as well as most of my miners to what I use. Most are always false positives but once I know they are clean the exception is added and I have no issues. You also need to backup your wallet every time you add currency to it. I personally back up to three different sources. A daily backup to local secondary harddrive, then weekly backups to offline harddrive and USB key. It has saved my ass on numerous occassions when the wallet goes bonkers and I have to re-install it.

if you dont have a wallet.dat file backup and you delete the coins folder you probably wont be able to ever retrieve your coins.

I got the backup wallet and replaced the new one with it. Now I see in "Receive coins" the address I used when I sent the D233 DNR. But I still dont have the DNRs in the wallet.
