Hi gvsrusa,
No reply from innosilicon despite sending them diagnostic logs from the bad A5.
The logs suggest it's a temperature problem (board is too hot so gets disabled?)
I've had a few thoughts - the cooling on the A5 seems to be a huge wind tunnel.
Big fans at each end and the boards hang down vertically in this tunnel.
I'm guessing this is their cheap-ass solution to cooling them rather than putting proper heatsink/fans on each ASIC.
I'd have to void the warranty to open it up but I'm considering putting heatsinks on the ASIC chips to see if I can get them cooler.
Cheers,
