https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_scam I would report any person that asked me to pay out of escrow before receiving the good as a scammer and you deserve to be marked a scammer for that.
In relation to the link above, i think my concerns are legitimate.
I also sent him a link to my profile from another electronic marketplace with 100% positive feedback.
He could send me a message there for verification...
Anyway, as it seems (no answer), it was a scammer and i won't explain this furthermore.
