Well honestly you've lost complete sight of what cryptocurrencies community was orginally about. It was about a viable fairer alternative to the banks controlled fiat currencies.

To start with the community was all about coming up with a currencies that wasn't controlled by the big greedy banks, as it turns now its seems most the crypto communities greed is as bad as the banks.

Most seem just tp consider BTC success based on is perceived value vs USD

Its the so called investors/money makers that make BTC less of a viable currency for merchants to adopt.
