I'm in, proper noob but benefited from the rise the other day and still have a bunch. Is there a way I can get involved with the staking without having a brain? I tried to follow the instructions on the first page for the Mac wallet, but I don't have anything to open the conf file and can't sync the wallet. Is there any easy solution for an investor who isn't technical? current holding 2500. Cheers Jas
Staking is default behavior but you can explicitly set staking=1 in the config file (magnet.conf). Staking works as follow: any coin older than 24h and younger than 48 days is eligible for Proof-of-Stake mining. If you win the block the reward is coin-day x 7% / 365 / 2.
