When people ask Bitcoin or Etherium in different topic like investment, mining, or transaction , They will say buy Etherium against btc or mine etherium against btc  because it is faster and mine able with gpu. Smart contract can be build on Etherium. But in last what we see Bitcoin still wins. Even one stage we saw like eth going beatup btc but not happened.

Same formula can be use with Eth and Ltc battle. No matter how faster thee litecoin could be what ever technology it brings Eth will remain on top of other alt. Hope it helps you understand what i meant.
