Multiple people are testing
Protocol is 80016 so expect this is not the final release but a step stone release to the zcash hard fork.
When do you think is the release of this new wallet?

This is the first time I have seen more than one of the protocol 8.2.1 showing up.
I think there are more than 2 out there. This is from one of the public explorers

It must be ready if he is giving it to multiple people to test or there are multiple devs all testing before release.
