The answer is simple, it is money taken away from your pocket and you don't really know were it will be spent. Citizens can only assume where their taxes go. You might be living in a great country were you will see that the taxes you paid was worth it. It is not the same situation in other countries. Taxes are great if the government was using it right. It is an obligation of every citizen but others are just making money out of it. That is the reason why others chose to avoid paying tax and keep the money for themselves. We are paying tax in everything that we purchase anyway.
