Robots will emancipate human kind from labour which today leaves people unsatisfied and their health at risk. It is also just as likely that robots will become masters of art and music too. For this reason I think it's pretty clear that we will eventually have a choice. Either stay as simply human and be left behind by super intelligent robots (not necessarily killed, just ignored).
Or
We will in some way combine ourselves with robots, either by inserting a computer into our brain and attaching ourselves to the internet, or by uploading our consciousness into a robot.
In those two cases I'm not really sure that we will have changed from human beings, as we will still be the same people. But I might agree that my family member is a robot, at least in part.
