I didn't know too much about hardware wallets, so I was surprised to see that these past forks have been supported by Ledger.

Both BTG and BCH run with the same chrome application as the Bitcoin app does,
the changes are considerably small for most forks.
IIRC syncing the BTG node took them more time after the fork than getting the code and app ready.
It's nice of them that they offer this service for all of their customers while they don't have to, in my opinion at least.
I have a Ledger Nano sitting here, but haven't touched it yet, it's probably going to be the easiest way to get future forked coins...
