Could anyone answer me what's so special about CCN? How will it compete with other kryptos? Do you find this to be a long term or short term investment?
CannaCoin uses blockchain technology like BTC and LTC, however, we use the PoSV protocol, which does not require expensive miners to both secure the network and confirm network transactions. This can be done by simply owning CannaCoin and staking your coins on the network with the desktop wallet. Also, we had a healthy 9 month Proof of Work period to ensure a fair distribution and then transitioned to the Proof of Stake protocol to secure the network against any type of attack. (Also, Proof of Stake is better for the environment).
I don't think there is direct competition between CannaCoin and Bitcoin, as Bitcoin is being used as a store of value. I think all of the cannabis based projects are actually in the same boat and all rise / fall together. I mean, there is competition between Mastercard and VISA, but the consumer can decide on which service to use. The same goes for any mj based currency.
This is not financial advice, but just to answer your question. It seems like marijuana reform is just getting started around the globe, so as crypto currency becomes more mainstream, the potential seems to be with investing for the long term. This is just my personal opinion though.

I agree and I think CCN has a lot of promise. I know it is not easy unless you have team and resources (or community support) but a marketing experts and a solid twitter (or social media) following could really help this coin go mainstream. Plus getting listed on another exchange would not hurt...but I like, trust and use Cryptopia often so at least it's listed there. Keep up the good work. I always look forward to updates and news coming out of Cannacoin!
