Yes, I think this volatility is a bad thing as I scares people.
Some people hate gambling and at the moment, this is pretty much what bitcoin is.
For the rest of our life bitcoin is going to be high so it is not a bad thing. If a person will buy it at low price and then hold it long and long time but still dont earn then no use of it. So it is good that bitcoin always change in price and increase more and more. I am pretty sure it will never stop increasing, bitcoin is good for the investors and the people who hate bitcoin are the people who have no information about it so let them be.
