each time bitcoin becomes stable, traders will have a hard time making profit that they like in a cryptocurrency. so they switch over to altcoins which are very easy to manipulate and pump.

if bitcoin starts being volatile again (either rise or fall) they will dump altcoins just as fast and go back to bitcoin.
