I would like to know how to be sure the coin are safe... what's the best ?

So far there is 3 possibility:

1: exchange (not safe)
2: internet wallet from ETN
3: Paper wallet


if i choose the paper wallet, how can i be sure i get my coin on it ?

There is an easy possibility to check the balance we have on the paper wallet?? without install something ??
