Increasing forever is not the right term I guess.
How about increase longer than our lifetime?
It will increase in value forever because it is limited while the demand for use now and in the future is increasing. No predictable value so it's perfectly possible.
Supply limit of bitcoin is one of the reason why the price is on a continuous increase whether there will be some dips that will occur during its way to the top.
