Yes there is other way if you delete your private key.. If you have saved seed phrase you can recover your wallet including the bitcoin address you use..
But if you are just holding private key without the seed phrase its impossible to recover your wallet..

I would suggest getting a hardware wallet (I use Ledger Nano S) and you can "tie" it with MEW and have the ledger maintain the connection with your pin code. If you go that route, take the time to learn the ledger and write down the "seed" terms and keep safe. Super important. Good luck in your future endeavors.
