Nice catch on the username. We are looking into EOS first for building the Everipedia network since I am a big fan of zero fee usage of an encyclopedia with consensus rewards for good editing/curation. I'm really just interested in datacoin as a hobby because I was one of the first miners and users back when it was originally launched. I'm gonna follow the project and do some mining and development support when I have time since I think datacoin was (now is) one of the more promising altcoins. Hopefully DTC gets listed on some large volume exchanges and fosters a niche dev community.
(This is Sam from Everipedia for reference)
Hi Sam, nice to hear from you.
I tried to do a Datacoin entry in Everipedia, but I see it is invitation only. Is there some way to get an invitation?
I am happy that Datacoin is involved with Bytestamp, Apertus and Hyperledger. The underlying client needs no real development - that can proceed in Bytestamp, Apertus and Hyperledger. The only issue is keeping up with the Bitcoin client versions, and there we have already upgraded once.
I see huge buy orders on BTCPOP. I suspect these are exchanges loading up at low prices so that they have "stock" to sell when they list us.
When I see Everipedia I see a Whale ... of influence. Stay close

.
Thanks
